All the innovation of Titanico plus a little bit more. This is the saddle for riders between 160 and 250 lbs. An innovative second laminate provides increased support to the leather upper. This helps to increase the longevity of the saddle and still provide the right amount of saddle elasticity under your sitbones.


The Slot
When you ride, the right and left sides of your pelvis move independently. The specific shape of our patented slot allows the saddle to move with you, reducing perineal pressure, sit bone pain, and saddle sores.

Dual Laminates
Titanico X borrows a dual layer laminate technology originally developed for our Limited Edition Ostrich Hide Saddle. The second laminate helps to reduce stretch in riders between 160 and 250 lbs. but still allows for the right amount of elasticity for riders in this weight category.

TruLeather
Vegtable oil, tree bark, and a significant amount of time are integral parts of this historic tanning process that result in a firm, stretch resistant leather. We designed TruLeather with veteran riders in mind. The classic characteristics and flex will feel familiar yet better than ever before. TruLeather is factory treated with Selle Anatomica Saddle Sauce to resist the elements.

Watershed Leather
Available on all of our saddles, Watershed leather requires no treatment or break in. After time, you may want to treat it with Selle Anatomica Saddle Sauce, but never use solvents or silicone. Leather is the only material that can be held in suspension like a hammock for your sit bones. Watershed leather is the gold standard of leather saddles for cyclists who want a comfortable ride right out of the box. It also has innate hydrophobic properties.

Extra Long Rails
Titanico X is supported by extra long rails for added adjustability and maximum comfort. Chromoly steel also ensures that they will not bend even under riders up to 250 lbs.

What makes Selle An-Atomica different?
1. Waterproof maintenance free leather - Standard leather saddle are formed with cold water, this makes them unprotected in the rain, even if you do take that pretty shower-cap with you. The complicated tanning process waterproofs the leather and lets you concentrate more about riding than worrying about the weather.

On the Selle An-Atomica website there are many important links to the very thorough R&D tests made by Tom Milton and his physicians. In this documentaion Tom takes time to explain why he chose the shape of the slot as being the best solution for men and women. 4. Adjustment - Chom-Moly frame with extra long rail adjustment with 4-5 cm more rail length than other competitor products. Also you can change the tension of the leather with an allen key. This lets you find the optimal sitting position

Everyone please stand up for the new Intense Carbine SL. Intense pulled out all the stops in order to create an extremely light weight cross- country/ light trail bike. High modulus carbon, titanium bolts, and a carbon fiber shock link keep this bike feeling feather weight. Intense has joined forces with German design and engineering specialist SEED Engineering to create a high modulus carbon frame that is light, extremely strong, and aesthetically pleasing. The Carbine SL is nothing short of a cycling masterpiece.

The Carbine SL features a Fox Kashima coated Fox Float CTF rear shock and uses its signature VPP suspension. Between the shock and suspension design, the rider will obtain optimal pedaling efficiency without pedal-bob. The adjustable travel positions allow you change the rear suspension from 4.75 to 5.25 inches; this allows you to adjust your rear suspension to your preference and terrain.

Intense has packed in many other exciting features into the Carbine SL. The tapered headset allows for a rigid front end, when hucking rocks or steering down a gnarly rock garden. The replaceable derailleur hanger gives you piece at mind, because accidents happen. Pre-routed for your dropper post, you’ll no longer have to bare the sight of homeless dropper cables.
